1. On the #MaxwellTrial, she's been charged with conspiracy to traffic minors under the Mann Act. Conspiracy requires two or more people to agree to commit at least one crime. Eg Maxwell/Epstein Conspiracy. Another defendant becomes a member knowing at least one of the objects
2. of the conspiracy and intending to accomplish it. Finally one conspirator must perform at least one overt act for the purpose of carrying out the conspiracy.

So, if TFG and others knew of the conspiracy to traffic minors on Epstein's plane or by trolling the bus station etc.
3. and that defendants agreed to participate in the sexual assaults that were a criminal purpose of the Maxwell/Epstein conspiracy, then IMO they all can be charged and no statute of limitations applies.
4. I personally like this as the final way to be rid of TFG. No bail pretrial and likely life in a prison for violent offenders. Plus we can bring some measure of closure for the Quazies having exposed the pedophile-in-chief.

1. I remember the Cuban missile crisis. We had moved back to Mass and lived in between two US Airforce Strategic Command bases. A lot of my school mates suddenly vanished. Two and now three E-6B's showing their teeth over CONUS. IMO we should be at least at #Defcon3. 30 minutes
2. to Putin's 2:00 am drama.
3. Very bad weather over the region, including reports of hurricane force winds along the Russian bank of the Black Sea. Like D-Day and the Battle of the Bulge where air power was ineffective in the opening days of conflict. This will limit our ISR capability.

1. Monday, @unsc will hold an Arria-Formula meeting on accountability for war crimes and crimes against humanity in #Syria. In support of why we should turn the #UN into a public park, #Turkey will participate while its hands are daily soaked with fresh Syrian civilian blood.
2. Going after war criminals is important. But the meeting should recognize that there are still tens of thousands of #Daesh war criminals in Howl camp and Turkey continues to interfere with security and facilitate their escape.
3. That should be on the agenda. And if they want to fix #Syria, stand up to Erdogan and get Turkey out of northern Syria. Also give democratic, secular #SDC UN observer status. @POTUS @SecDef @SecBlinken @USAmbUN @WHNSC @NATO @WHCOS

1. #Covid Live Updates: South Africa Identifies New Variant
The concerning new variant is driving a spike in infections in South Africa. Britain banned flights from six African nations as it investigates a new variant.

2. Botswana’s health ministry confirmed that four cases of the new variant were detected in people who were all fully vaccinated. All four were tested before their planned travel. One sample was also detected in Hong Kong, carried by a traveler from South Africa.
3. “This variant did surprise us, it has a big jump in evolution, many more mutations than we expected, especially after a very severe third wave of Delta,” said Tulio de Oliveira, director of the KwaZulu-Natal Research and Innovation Sequencing Platform.

1. I don't usually report on what Michael Cohen says but I think it deserves note that he said that Eric Trump would be charged for the Stormy Daniels related crimes. I think the statute has run on that so if he's right, Eric's likely already been charged.
2. Also, Putin's acting oddly. Starting a World War is not off-brand but to make it so obvious he's trying to incite one makes little sense. Unless perhaps he's been listening in on US grand juries, as I suspected the SVR was some time ago, and he knows what's coming.
3. Two of the other players in the fact pattern I've been watching for about four years are meeting today in Ankara that prompted me to ponder this. But why would Cohen know about this now? I suppose he could be called to the grand jury to add counts to a superseding indictment.
