Very unpleasant serious accidents, CDC Bipin Rawat, many Army Officials & others injured in the #MI17 Crash (in a residential area near #Conoor) on way to Defence College. Casualties not ruled out. Prayers. Injured being rushed to hospitals.

Defence Minister likely to give a statement in Parliament soon. Prime Minister too has been briefed about the unfortunate crash. Def Min and other Government Officials monitoring the rescue operations. Some reports suggest more than 4 people have been rescued.

It is a terrible news. Must take this unfortunate crash with such a horrible damage in a more serious manner. The Chopper got engulfed in fire as it came down with a thud. Helicopter mangled badly, with most injured with burn injuries & casualties not ruled out.

Kerala film director Ali Akbar reveals he was victim of sexual abuse at madrasa. After 40 years he opened his mouth to narrate the horrible abuse he had to suffer at the Madrassa after he confided in one Kerala journalist Rajeena. Both being threatened now.
All this he revealed about five years back and when asked about speaking now, he said because of the fear from his religion, he could not muster courage to speak earlier. He also revealed that many of his friends spoke to him to have suffered similar abuses in Madrasas.

The gender inequality, racism and exploitation of the weaker sex happening more prominently in developed countries or at least in comparable degrees. The victims not finding reliable housing, food & money. In many cases parents starving and shackling their children.

Recall Hindus being forced to change the annual route of the religious procession on the occasion of #DurgaPuja, #RamNavmi, etc, lest it provokes the “peaceful” in and around the mosques. Recall many a subsequent riots took place when processions moved on d roads.

And recall in West Bengal, Kerala, Maharashtra and many other places an “awake and alert” administration would put ban on processions on roads adjoining mosques, mazar, etc, to respect the sensibilities of the other faith. Here the roads occupied close to #Temple ?
