Close to EOY, I traced back the timeline of my 1 year crypto journey. Looking back, it's been a remarkable experience.

I bought my first crypto in July 2020 using my CFD account at 9400, 9600, I only knew $BTC then

2/ Oct 2020
I re-entered #BTC at 11,000, still using my CFD account.


I contemplated to get into full time crypto trading but didn’t. I should’ve started earlier!
3/ Dec 2020
I thought calling bitcoin at 50k was a joke, that’s when I knew joining the dark-side was the best decision I ever made.


4/ Jan 2021

I opened my binance account n traded crypto using TA. I still didn’t know much but there were only 2 coins I was super long on, thanks to @RoostarHC
#DOT due to parachains, whatever it meant for me then and #BNB bcos it was the biggest/best exchange I knew then.

These were my first entries:

#DOT at $9.83 to $46 and the only coin I stacked


#BNB at $40
6/ Rode, accumulated BNB from $40 to $631


The adds on both DOT n BNB
7/ I started making crypto friends here @CryptoWizardd pumped me up to 10k followers and Wiz shilled me #LUNA at $1

8/ FEB - March 2021

I had my first reversed #ICO - #LUKSO
I assumed it was the same as traditional IPO. My entry was $3, rode it to $26, 8 bags in a month.

9/ In Feb - March bull run, I traded mid-major caps on Binance, I caught coins that multi bagged in 2 weeks.

Some examples:
CHZ: 12X (0.057 to 0.71)


TFUEL: 10X (0.05 to 0.52)


HOT: 9X (0.003 to 0.027)
10/ May 2021

I was told to become a #degen one must get into shitcoins. So I degen-ed on defi the 1st time. Big gains were in the memes, I literally entered these coins for laughs and I couldn’t believe the returns.

It was 20x , 10x within a few days sort of run
11/ For example,

#ASS +800% after 1 hour entry, 2 hours later it went to +900%





#PUBE + 438% in a day

Late oct to Nov, I focused more on FA, I learnt how money was flowing sector to sector. I was into the #meta and #P2E run. Examples

BLOK: 10X (0.014 to 0.15)
GALAX: 7X (0.09 to 0.71)
SAND: 6X (0.99 to 6.9)
RFOX: 4X (0.065 to 0.31)
NTVRK: 3X (2.12 to 7.02)

1/ All these delusional moon boys with their ridiculous “prediction” #Bitcoin are causing a lot of pain to a lot of people in this space.

There’re two type of traders, predictive traders and reactive traders:
2/ A predictive trader creates a price bias and makes a prediction based on where they THINK the price will go.

The issue with this strategy is, it allows confirmation bias which filters into their trading strategy - meaning if the trade moves the opposite direction of the...
3/ …price they predicted, they become reluctant to take the trade, in worst case scenarios, they hodl the losing position.

1/ @FayreLabs in a nutshell is creating a NFT loyalty card program for creators, brands n their fans. They are currently creating a dashboard for brands.

Think Starbucks using Fayre n create their own NFTs to be given to their frequent coffee drinkers which they get perks.
2/ Benefits of this is - Better interaction between the brands with their fans, business n their customers.
Transaction fees will be lower than other platforms which is 1% n by having the fayre card it’s reduced to 0.
3/ The roadmap consists of #Metaverse projects to have virtual land/asset marketplace n using #fayre as the native token.

Fayre will be a SaaS model for users.

I used to dream of that fairy tale story, where I get to wear a princess dress n walk down the aisle.

I was sold by that “dream” as a little girl. The notion of as a woman, u need a man to fulfil these “fairy tale” dreams, IMO, is a way to take away a woman’s personal power.
But NOW, time’s changed.

I reclaimed n recreated my identity.

WE as a woman, we can do whatever we want without another person’s approval.
I can wear a wedding dress on just a regular day.
I can wear a princess dress whenever I want just bcos I want to look n feel beautiful
You don’t need anyone to say YES to you.

You don’t need anyone to approve of you.

Because YOU approve YOURSELF.

It is your thought of who YOU that matters.

I came from a nerdy and creative background. ( I was a musician) Numbers and math were never my strength, I recalled I scored 11 in my final math exam in high school. Teachers said I had no hope, so I should just work on doing culinary type of work...cont
I took that bullshit belief till adulthood. Who would have thought I did my Master in Computer Science n now trading the stock markets whichI see numbers EVERYDAY!Copious of decisions were made of numbers. And according to my guru @AsennaWealth who taught me how to trade/finance
He said I’m a GUN n actually have it in me! The biggest compliments that made me all warm n fuzzy, stayed with me was when my he said that to me multiple times with the intention of becoming his head trader! @AsennaWealth I have so much gratitude for you.

This little venture came knocking and I grasped it. So far, this journey of investing has done me gooood. My very 1st investment was I put in 20k in Feb 19. 6 weeks later I cashed out 120k. 120K may be insignificant to some but it was HUGE to me at that time and still is! Image
That’s money I didn’t have to trade hours for nor sitting on a desk staring at the computer or stuck in a 9-5 job.. In fact, I wasn’t working full time as I was writing my final thesis for my Master’s.
That was a monster trade and trades like this don’t come as often. I was lucky to have experienced investors, gun traders and market makers by my side to guide and advice me. BUT, the POD is - that opportunity presented itself, I did my research had faith in the experts around me
