NEW—England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 set a another 12th record high pediatric #COVID19 hospitalizations in a month. More than double the rate of former waves. The kids are not alright. Kids should not be hospitalized— have their whole lives ahead of them—PROTECT THEM. #Omicron

3) we need to stop minimizing the risk to kids! 👇 and to treat teachers as expendable.

⚠️ICU RECORDS—COVID minimizers claim that hospitalizations are “decoupled” from #Omicron cases. Not true➡️New Jersey, Maryland & DC have hit an all-time high hospitalizations, with Maryland & DC both at **all time record #COVID19 ICU high** too. Ergo, not “mild”

2) Moreover, US hospitalizations and ICUs are nearing record highs too. #Omicron is not “mild” if you factor in exponential growth and adjust for vaccines and reinfections. Image
3) How does it happen even #Omicron is less severe supposedly? Well it’s all in the nature of exponential math — when exponential math explodes the number of cases, hospitalizations will naturally surge behind it.

2) This statement by @CDCDirector that “there isn’t massive increases in hospitalizations” is a *complete & utter lie*. I know the data. She knows the data. Her @CDCgov knows the data —and the data all says the US is already at last year’s record #COVID19 hospitalization peak! 👇

“Mild”? It is downright shameful & scandalous that #LongCovidKids has doubled in 3 months & tripled in 6 months in kids 2-16 in 🇬🇧. Kids suffering for 12+ months has also doubled! There is no universe where kids #COVID19 debilitated as such is “mild”!

2) I have this moment saved in my photo albums to pull out for just this moment… the Harvard event was for a “2015 Experiment Medalist” award— it was held in the auditorium of Harvard’s education school. I remember it like it was yesterday—cuz her bullshit oozed from every pore!

BREAKING—42%⬆️—Pandemic profiteering @Walmart just increased the price of 2 rapid #COVID test kits from $14 to $19.88… by 42%! Meanwhile rapid tests are either free or $1.20 each in Europe. Or if its @AbbottNews, can’t they lower damn price?! Asking for the 🌎 in pain.
2) And @cvspharmacy & @Walgreens are worse — they are charging $23.99 for a 2-pack. Shameful considering rapid tests are just $1.20 — if you even pay anything in Europe. @AbbottNews is also complicit in this price gouging racket.
