Over 400 builders, creators & leaders from the @harmonyprotocol community got together for #DayONE in San Francisco to celebrate the growth of the ecosystem & the future of Web3.

3/ @chainlink price feeds went live on @harmonyprotocol. Now, developers can source data from numerous aggregators, resulting in accurate prices, making it easier & secure to create and execute smart contract logic.

5/ The @OneAfricaDao made waves in Kenya by hosting one of the first Harmony Africa meetups.

The community came together to talk about the future of blockchain, and aspiring African DAOs presented their innovative projects.

6/ @harmonyprotol presents the Zero-Knowledge University (zku.ONE), a #learntoearn initiative. ZKU is a 7-week intensive course with practical hands-on learning and mentorship from industry experts.

7/ The @harmonyprotocol team met offsite to celebrate a successful 2021 & build strategies for 2022.

The agenda included team hikes, home-cooked dinners, and discussions on NFT infrastructure, ZK proofs & scaling the Harmony Ecosystem. 🤩

@harmonyprotocol's success metrics for 2021 included:

💻 Apps - 227 apps with 553,511 wallets
💰 Payouts - $7.71m payout for 108 Gitcoin bounties
💸 Assets - 400m+ assets locked across cross-chain bridges
👩‍🎨Artists - 9,032 artists with $1.07m NFT sales

10/ We started 2021 by reviewing our ecosystem growth in 2020 and writing down our main roadmap & strategy for 2021.

Our main goals were:

✔️Adoption
✔️Interoperability
✔️Decentralization

11/ In February, we achieved one of our key milestones— full compatibility with Ethereum tools such as @metamask_io, Web3.js, ethers.js, @trufflesuite & @EthereumRemix

With this update, developers could directly deploy dApps written using web3/ether.js on Harmony

12/ To build a bigger and better ecosystem, we launched @SushiSwap & @CurveFinance on @harmonyprotocol.

While the Sushi partnership brought in $4 Million in incentives, the Curve launch was incentivized with $2 million in $ONE tokens. 💸

13/ Other product launches included the Harmony Block Explorer, the Horizon bridge & our cross-chain NFT bridge as part of the Horizon bridge launch.

Cross-chain NFT bridge is as easy-to-use as the ERC20 token bridge on Horizon!

14/ To bring Traditional Finance to Decentralized Finance, @harmonyprotocol launched a $1 Million Hackathon. The hackathon focused on:

✅Cross-chain and Trustless Bridges
✅Social Wallets and Keyless Security
✅Cross-border with Fintech Integrations

15/ In October, we announced our $300M ecosystem fund for bounties, grants & 100 DAOs. Since the announcement, 23 DAOs have already been funded.

16/ We got featured in the @MessariCrypto report titled “At ONE with Harmony”

The report talked about Harmony’s potential to compete with both L1s and L2s using its low fee, fast, and trustless bridge.

17/ Our team attended the Ethereum Community Conference (@EthCC) in Paris and connected with various community partners.

Some of the topics that rounded the tables were launching consumer products on blockchain, DeFi growth, and of course the safe and secure #ONEWallet.🔒

18/ @harmonyprotocol participated in the @0xliscon conference to celebrate the Web3 culture & community.

Our team spoke to over 100 Web3 builders, creators and industry leaders to discuss the future of the crypto ecosystem and the viability of #DAOs

19/ During the @NFT_NYC, we launched our first billboard video on Times Square in NYC!

Titled “Create Wealth in Harmony”, the video talks about how the new creator economy isn’t built with walls, but connected by bridges!

20/ @harmonyprotocol was also a part of @DcentralCon in Miami, where the community got together to discuss how to scale DeFi & NFTs.

The Harmony booth at the event featured many ecosystem projects, including @DefiKingdoms, MADinNFT and Armoonies.

21/ We ended the year with the #DayONE event in San Francisco to celebrate the @harmonyprotocol community. With over 400 participants, @stse talked about the vision, growth and goals of Harmony.

22/ 2021 was the year for radical change for @harmonyprotocol. We witnessed tremendous growth while working relentlessly towards our goals.
