Clear communication must be coupled with access to the tools that reduce transmission, including access to PPE and N95s, rapid tests, and the data and research that inform decisions - this needs to be a priority for the gov’t. 2/ #bcpoli #COVID19BC
Continually blindsiding businesses shows a disregard for how challenging the last 2 years have been for the over 1 million people employed by small businesses. After so much turmoil they need as much stability & certainty as gov't can provide. 3/ #bcpoli #BCbusiness #COVID19BC
There is consensus from the @WHO and @GovCanHealth that #COVID19 is airborne. Guidance to the public about how to reduce risk of transmission of COVID must be clear and consistent. 4/ #bcpoli #COVID19BC #omnicron
Leadership in an ongoing crisis should be seen as a shared burden. Restoring and maintaining public trust is essential. It is time for BC to have an independent science table that can provide clear, evidence-based communication to the public. 5/5 #bcpoli #COVID19BC #COVID19
