#PMQs Johnson championing UK vaccine rollout isn't what it seems.
Of 30 million jabs in UK, 13 million Pfizer were imported from EU, 5 million from India and non-trivial amounts from NL. This actually means the UK has only provided 20% of its 68 million population

The reason why the EU is also at 20% of vaccinating its citizens is that it gave away a third of its supplies to Mexico, Chile, US and its biggest recipient was the UK.
It makes me bloody sick to hear Johnson twisting the facts and demonizing the EU for flag shagging 'wins'

EU producers also exported another third to its member states. An early decision was taken by EU states that it would be unacceptable for some states to protect their populations while others looked on with empty hands and full hospitals. This is solidarity, ethics built on trust

If I can access the facts about UK vaccine roll outs compared to the EU's in 5 minutes, why can't the opposition parties who know Johnson's default 'we are the best in the world' rhetoric trip him up on his lies? How much longer can this pantomime go on?

As of August 31st 2021 considering that the EU shared millions of vaccines with countries in need outside of the EU including the UK that actually demonstrated selflessness and ethical considerations for their neighbours, they are now at 70% vaccinated.
