Yesterday evening we learned that some convoy protesters stole food from a soup kitchen.

They intimidated workers at a shelter into giving them free food when shelters and food banks are struggling to provide those in real need.

It doesn't show everything and what I can see is a large crowd, but it certainly doesn't look like the 500,000 to 1.4 million the participants claimed would be there (one random person believed there would be 3.5 million, or close to 10% of Canada). 2/ Image
So far people on the ground have noted Diagalon and Canada First flags and at least one person in a Soldiers of Odin vest.

As the Pat King led convoy approaches Ottawa from the west, one can hear the palpable rise in tension in radio communication. 1/
Pat King himself seems to be feeling it too as he suggests that he won't be the instigator of anything himself. 2/

If you or anyone you know plan on countering the convoy protest, I urge you not to. I can't see this not resulting in violence. It is only the nature of the violence that is in question at this point. 1/14

While I pray that I'm wrong, we've seen too much already which suggests this isn't going to go well.

First there is the boorish behaviour of some participants and their supporters that I first heard about in Winnipeg and which continues into Ontario. 2/14
