Federal prosecutors rested their case Monday against 3 former Minneapolis police officers charged with violating George Floyd’s civil rights, setting the stage for 2 of the officers to soon take the stand as part of their defense.
The prosecution rested its case after nearly 3 weeks of testimony from doctors, police officers & bystanders, including the teenager who recorded widely seen video that showed Officer Derek Chauvin pressing his knee onto Floyd’s neck for 9 1/2 minutes.
George Floyd | J. Alexander Kueng, Thomas Lane and Tou Thao are broadly charged with violating Floyd’s constitutional rights while acting under government authority.

Just prior to Judge Nathan calling for the 5pm close of the day’s proceedings, Ms Menninger has shown a document showing that “Jane” did not apply for financial aid or a scholarship prior to meeting Epstein — despite her testimony about her family’s financial problems.
