2. Probably the biggest #OttawaOccupy event today is Pat King's bail hearing. I'll get to that shortly, but my most important news of the day is that I'm starting to kick as at Wordle.

3. The fine folks at @antihateca are live tweeting the hearing. Big news there is the Crown brought forth new evidence that may affect the decision to grant bail and are asking t reopen the hearing.
10. Who is one of the people streaming the hearing illegally?
Well, that would be Owen Swiderski.
11. You might remember Swiderski in some of Pat King's videos in the background. You might also remember him as one of the partners in the crypto scam (along with Pat's would-be surety Kerry Komix)
12.
13. @antihateca back live tweeting the Pat King bail hearing.
17. I thought Pat King said that all he needed to do was to recite some Latin legal woo and he would be out immediately?
18. Perhaps he didn't say them precisely right?
19. Pro tip. If tens of thousands... or hundreds of thousands... or, hell, millions of people you don't personally know are celebrating that you didn't get bail, it might be time to do some deep introspection into your life and where things started to go wrong.
21. Pro tip 2: If you find your name is trending and people responding aren't posting this gif, consider the reason why.
22. Now it perhaps shouldn't be surprising that Pat King gave someone control of his Facebook page. These were posted with the past hour.
23. These are not all the comments praising Pat King's courage and honesty, as well as the ubiquitous "fake news" or its equivalent attack on media they don't like.
They are however representative.
24. We are also seeing some reaction to Pat King remaining in jail from some of his supporters like the Yellow Vest hold-outs in Calgary.
25. Still, not everyone is a fan.
26.
27. So with Pat King on cooling his jets in jail, what about some of the other people I've been looking at.
Let's start with Diagolon de facto leader Jeremy MacKenzie.
28. Suffice it to say he was not especially happy with how he was portrayed on @cbcfifth.
And because he has the maturity of a 2 year old when he is being petulant, he of course also comments on superficial looks as an attack.
29. And among the targets of his ire is @antihateca as he promotes a website aimed at getting us "defunded."
30. I mean, we have only had one grant from the government and most of our funding comes from private sources, but hey, you do you.
31. But mostly he has been commenting on Russia's invasion of Ukraine because, you know, he opposes authoritarianism so long as it isn't actually authoritarianism.
32.
33. Remember, he considers the relatively gentle removal of #OttawaOccupiers (when compared to other police actions) as brutality that will leave a stain on the country for generations.
Actual authoritarianism, he's pretty okay with though.
36. Tyler is being a bit less subtle in that his his throwing his full support behind the autocratic Putin.
37.
38. Yeah, I like her chances better than yours boy.
39. Mostly though he has been boasting about how he has made it to Florida to attend the more racist version of CPAC so he and his buddy Nick Fuentes could hang out and be cool and totally not cringey dweebs.
2. Because the world has gone mad and most attention is being paid to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, there probably won't be may updates in this thread. In fact as a lot of right-wing extremists have turned their attention to supporting Putin I'll probably soon focus on that.
3. However, in the meantime, we see a fascinating response to the end of the Emergency Act.
The supporters of the #OttawaOccupation appear to believe that they won?
2. Sort of taking a bit of a break. Things look slowish right now (though I haven't actually done a deep dig) so I figured that this would be an appropriate time.
3. That said, I missed this when it first came out.
2. While I haven't been focusing on the QAnon self-proclaimed Queen, Romana Didulo and her entourage continue to hold court in Ottawa in their world that continues to be divorced from reality.
3. But even she seems to recognize that it is time to go home.
2. First a few things I caught before but didn't post.
First, Tyler Russell of the hate group Canada First believes because he was on a far-right video stream which attracts far-right listeners that they are "inevitable."
Folks, classic example of the echo chamber at work.
