@RepMalinowski TM: Russia doesn't look like a govt where ppl are telling Putin the truth. That may be why he made this disastrously bad decision. Sanctions don't move fast as tanks, but the noose around his regime is tightening. Also boost morale for Ukraine to see Putin's ppl lose their villas

🚨WaPo confirms #Russia is compiling kill lists—lists of Ukrainians & exiled dissidents from Russia & Belarus—'to be killed or sent to camps’ following a military invasion & occupation of #Ukraine. Plan includes torture, forced disappearances & “widespread human suffering.”
NYT confirms jaw-dropping kill lists story—Ukrainians to kill or detain/torture in "camps" post invasion. Included: dissidents, journalists, anti-corruption & oppo activists from #Russia & #Belarus. Basically Putin & Luka would wipe out their critics living in exile in #Ukraine.
This is the letter US sent to the UN Human Rights chief about #Russia's kill lists, which would eliminate Putin's critics and decapitate resistance in #Ukraine. The lists reek of war crimes & revenge, and are right in line with Putin's assassinations & Luka's terrorist hijacking.

🔥Zelensky🇺🇦: Has our world completely forgotten the mistakes of the 20th century, where appeasement leads? How did we get to this point, where war is waged & ppl are dying in Europe, longer than during WWII. How did we end up in the biggest security crisis since end of Cold War?
Zelensky: I hope no one is thinking about #Ukraine as a permanent buffer betw #Russia & the West. This will never happen. No one can let this happen. Who then is next? NATO countries will have to protect each other. I hope NATO Art5 is more effective than the Budapest Memorandum.
