The first package from the “Child and Family Relief Fund” delivered. Heartbreaking to know that recipient has a Masters Degree in International Relations & was a PHD Candidate (ruined dream). He served for years in ANDSF & has worked in Director level. Imagine ordinary #Afghans

In total six packages were delivered to vulnerable families in Kabul. It’s family received Food Package and a child relief package. The family had a baby girl only 4 months old. She is sick and the family could either afford her medicine or their food. Tough choice, right?

“Hello, I am a breadwinner for a family of eight. Before the Taliban came, I was a simple worker. I was providing for myself. I have been unemployed for six months. I went to aid companies. No one provided assistance
I want you to support me if it is a loaf of bread”

A young man who used to find regular work in the previous government, but not there isn’t work. He couldn’t manage to feed his family and pay the house rent. He is grateful to have received the food package. Everyday he leaves his house to find work, and I hope he does soon.

I spoke to this family on the phone. Their situation was dire. They had bread with green tea last night. Well tonight, they had cooked beans. Thank you donors for providing a nutritious meal(s) for this family.

Another package delivered. Thanks to the donors. I only coordinate. I can’t tag all the donors here but do hope you can see this. Your donations will save 143 more families from starvation. That’s something we can celebrate.

Another package delivered. This young man is a university student in India. His family used to send him money in the past. His two brothers have lost their jobs back home. Family going through a worst time putting food on the table. Thank you donors for the generosity.
