#Kherson Axis & ISW Map Update - #Kherson front lines are fluid at the moment w villages changing hands rapidly. #Ukraine captured Blahodatne, Kyselivka & Klapaya. #Russia counterattacked and now contests Klapaya. This assault puts Kherson city within 10km of UAF artillery. 
To the west of #Kherson, #Russia attacked and captured the town of Oleksandrivka from #Ukraine troops holding it. 🇺🇦 suffered many casualties in the fighting. 🇷🇺 had been trying to seize the town for weeks. The status of the Solonets crossing is unknown.
#Ukraine GenStaff claimed that #Russia had ordered all the residents of Velyka Oleksandrivka to evacuate the city by April 28 or else they will be forcibly removed. The reason for the evacuation or the potential evacuation sites are unknown.
North of #Kherson there are new large groupings of #Russian forces and supplies headed to and around the village of #Vysokopillya. There are also rumors of helos and increased UAV and artillery activity towards Kryvyi Rih. Where these troops will be committed is not clear.
Given the large amount of manpower and equipment that #Russia is moving into #Kherson Oblast right now, expect a large attack towards #Mykolayiv or #KryvyiRih soon. #Ukraine is trying to gain ground to blunt the impact of this assault.
#UnitedKingdom Ministry of Defence may have implied that the large groupings of #Russians in #Vysokopillya may be used for an E push towards #Zaporizhzhia. This is possible but would require a 120 km contested attack on the rear camp of #Ukrainian forces defending the city.
