It’s not just Trump that caused the victory of the Religious Right. He was as much a product of years of Republican & radical religious gamesmanship. But, it’s worth considering if the victory of an ardent advocate of women’s choice in 2016 might not have found a way to prevent.
SCOTUS would not have been dominated by such extreme Right/anti-choice figures. It might have been easier to legislate for voting rights to undo state distortions. Or it might have been worse as a backlash 🤷♀️
