Ok. 🧵 If you are following #Project2025 and America’s transnational trajectory towards theocratising everyone, check this out. NatCon is the movement around it, & far right in Europe, & radicalising Right in #Auspol. Explored here: theaimn.com/the-atlas-netw… There was a NatCon conference in Belgium recently. The mayor tried to cancel it because there were too many Far Right figures represented. johnmenadue.com/do-we-suppress…

🧵This paper by then assoc prof Nik-Khah details accessibly how Hayek’s (plutocrat-funded) Chicago School became the [Atlas Network] in the 70s.
A following tweet will show Tim Willson carried out this model for the IPA in Australia #Auspol westernsydney.edu.au/__data/assets/…

Note this quote in the article from one of the early figures in forming this sociopathic model of political economy (at that point instigated by Big Pharma: it didn’t want regulation). Image

When I wrote about the Centre for Independent Studies (#AtlasNetwork partner alongside the IPA), their comms director leapt on a blog to call me a conspiracy theorist. Well, IPA just advertised their links to Atlas. Slow clap for clumsy propaganda, chaps. theaimn.com/the-ipa-just-e… This was my response to the aforementioned comms director. You can find her comments still in the thread following the linked original. theaimn.com/atlas-network-…

The #AtlasNetwork’s key Aus region event, the Friedman Conference, became something new this year. It merged with the Church and State show. Libertarian ā€œfreedomā€ was always for plutocrats & enablers - absolutely not for workers. Now ā€œfreedomā€ = ā€œenforced ā€˜virtueā€™ā€ too. #auspol Image Whether ā€œfreedomā€ or ā€œvirtueā€ should be the driving mission amongst conservatives moulding society is an old argument. Freedom has been the mantra for decades. Religious ā€œconservativesā€ were angry, colonised the project. Now ā€œfreedomā€ is freedom for them to make you virtuous.

🧵Thanks to @UTSEngage for hosting a fascinating webinar on the international network of bodies now focussed on destroying offshore wind power, having attacked carbon taxes and all climate mitigation measures to date - except the ones the industry wants because they do nothing. @ Hosted by @Scottludlam, it featured Dr Jeremy Walker (UTS), Prof @NancyMacLean5 (Duke), @TimmonsRoberts (Brown), Brendan Demille (@DeSmog). Sadly absent @amywestervelt (@WeAreDrilled)

Atlas Network has been spotting, training and connecting talent to money to fight…

With so much conservative media amplification of Coalition spin, it’s going to be a lot easier for them to impose minority religious values on Australians. Trans lives are already being harmed, and anti choice action has begun here. theaimn.com/the-risk-of-th… #auspol #ausvotes Remember, they are already chipping away at #democracy in Australia. Similar to US and UK. johnmenadue.com/democracy-in-d…

If you struggle to understand how politicians who loudly proclaim their faith can be so cruel to the battlers, disaster victims, refugees, read this. theaimn.com/the-risk-of-th… #auspol #ausvotes #climatecrisis #climate #climateaction I realise that the term ā€œmodernā€ nation in that screenshot is deeply contested, depending on where you live and how much you have. Work with me.
