1. ITU defined the requirements of IMT 2020- official ITU name of 5G. Rural enhanced mobile broadband (eMBB) configuration focused on intersite distance of 1.7 Km & 120/500 km/hour speed of vehicles - a speed unthinkable in rural India😀. A requirement unsuitable for #India.
2. #TSDSI's Low Mobility Large Cell (LMLC) focuses on low speeds such as 3/30 Km/hour for pedestrian and vehicles and intersite distance of 6 Km to address Indian scenario. . @TSDSI_India@DoT_India@GoI_MeitY@TRAI

He also gave President's Gold Medal to Abhyuday Pandey and Ratan Swarup Memorial Prize to Yash Maheshwari. We would like to thank Shri Narendra Modi Ji for motivating and encouraging the students with his heart warming words.
.@IITKanpur has always been contributing to the projects of national interest. I feel proud to share that we have contributed our bit to the #KashiVishwanathDham.
Our incubated company Acquafront Infrastructure has successfully deployed a patented technology “Self Adjusting Fixed Type Jetty (SAFTJ)” to construct world’s first floating #CNG filling station for #ecofriendly boats on the Khidkiya Ghat, Varanasi.
The station is designed to ensure the consistent and safe #CNG pipeline connection to all the dispensers with controlled risk factors even in peak flood season.
I am delighted to share that Prof Jayant Kumar Singh, Department of Chemical Engineering and his team have developed a first of its kind portable soil testing device that can detect soil health in just 90 seconds through an embedded mobile application, Bhu Parikshak.
The rapid soil testing device will assist farmers in obtaining soil health parameters of agricultural fields with a recommended dose of fertilizers. The mobile application is made available in local languages, and the device is designed keeping in mind the ease of use for farmers
The device can test up to 1 lakh soil samples, the highest testing capability among its predecessors.
For mass production and wider reach, we have transferred this technology to our incubated agritech company AgroNxt Services Pvt. Ltd.
Some of the best scientific minds of India shared some findings today in a virtual press conference on the mathematical model “#COVID_19 India National Supermodel”. It is significant that such models are being used by the policymakers to serve as input in making decisions.
The committee accessed: 1. Potential impact of the lockdown measures - did it help reduce the peak load on our healthcare system, and thus gave time to build on our capacity 2. Assess the impact of migrant labourers travelling back to their places of origin in May and June
The following conclusions have emerged about the course of the pandemic:
a) With no #lockdown, the #pandemic would have hit India very hard, with a peak load of 140+ lakh cases arriving in June.
