Three hours ago the #Ukrainian fighter jet MiG-29 shot down the advanced Russian fighter Su-35 ($85 mln) in the sky over the southern #Kherson province, #Ukraine. Source: Ukraine Air Force. The photo is illustrative. [Thread⬇️]

[3] As #Ukraine Air Force added in the news flash, the destroyed Russian Su-35 patrolled the #Kherson province airspace hunting for the Ukrainian bombers. It wasn't lucky, obviously.
[4] UPDATE - Two rockets air-to-air launched by that downed today Russian SU-35 exploded without hitting the targets (self-liquidated).
[5] UPDATE - The downed Russian SU-35 flew into #Kherson province airspace from #Crimea (Belbek multi-use airport in Sevastopol). The radio intercept confirms that the pilot catapulted. The $85 mln fighter jet crashed near #Kherson.

The #Ukraine intelligence volunteers from the @InformNapalm community shared an audio intercept of a radio exchange between panicking Russian Marines & indifferent Russian Navy HQ in Crimea. Marines were under attack on the occupied #Ukrainian Snake Island in the Black Sea.
[2] On audio, Russian servicemen onboard their Raptor boats are panicking, crying, and lamenting to their Crimea Navy HQ about every Bayraktar missile that one by one hit and destroyed their boats.
[3] The Russians on their Raptors used an open Maritime rescue frequency begging from Crimea HQ for the air support to save them from the hostile Ukrainian attack drone in the Black Sea.

UPDATE - Yesterday's #Ukraine attack on the Rus. HQ in #Izium was designed to liquidate the high-value target - chief of Gen. Staff of RAF Gen. Valeriy Gerasimov. The Kremlin sent him to get a victory for the May 9 parade. Gerasimov was close to the blast but wounded. [Thread⬇️]
[2] Yesterday, at the moment of the #Ukraine attack more than 40 high-ranked Russian military officers gathered in the HQs in #Izium. Reportedly, up to 20 of them are confirmed killed incl. Gen. Andrey Simonov, a commander of electronic warfare forces of the West district.

[2] First, the Kremlin dismissed the Black Sea fleet commander, General Osipov. He's under arrest.
[3] Second, Russian MoD dismissed the Lt. Gen. Vladislav Ershov from the post of a commander of the 6th Army. He's arrested for more than 2,000 killed Russian troops, incl. 180 conscripts who should not be sent to war in #Ukraine according to Russian law.

BREAKING - The #Ukraine state enterprise EnergoAtom reports that the #Russian Army units that captured the defunct #Chernobyl nuclear power plant are leaving the plant in two convoys of about 100 vehicles to #Belarus. [Thread⬇️]
