If you live in the blue area of this map, we need you to vote in the Democratic Primary on August 2nd.

We need you to skip the statewide offices, our governor, SOS, and AG candidates are locked in anyway.

We need you to write in JOSEPH ALFONSO for US Congressional District 4.

If we fail to get 3,250 voters to do this, there will only be a Republican available on the 4th house district ballot, covering cities like #Kalamazoo, #BattleCreek, #BentonHarbor, #Holland, #Portage, #Saugatuck, #StJoseph, and #SouthHaven. That Republican is absolutely terrible.

Bill Huizenga represents the area of the district in the red square. His old gerrymandered district is in green. He's a no-name candidate in most of the district. He needs an opponent, especially one like Joseph Alfonso who is a Marine #veteran on the state plumbing board.

All of the data any pollsters have on this district is old and wrong. The north ½ of the district has been the most rapidly growing area in the state for a decade. The parties have never invested heavily in West MI. Despite this, it barely leans red. Investment will change it.

Holland, where Bill, Joseph, and I all live, and where #BetsyDeVos is from, is rapidly growing, and the demographic leans left sharply. Ethnically, the growth is elevated in the #SouthAsian and #Latino populations. We need a Latino candidate like Joseph Alfonso here.

Speaking of Betsy, the reason Bill Huizenga is so awful, is because he has been thoroughly corrupted by her money the same way Henry Creel was corrupted by the upside down when he was sent there by Eleven. #StrangerThings

The very first bill handed to #Trump by Huizenga eliminated reporting requirements on foreign mining and oil investments. It made it impossible for us to see which companies were invested in Russian operations. You bet DeVos owned #Amway took advantage of this.

When the #UkraineWar was initiated by Putin, Amway was pressured into announcing that they stopped sales in #Russia, but in that announcement they said they did not stop all business. They have not updated this. Because of Bill there is no reporting requirement.

Bill isn't just another #DeVos lackey in our government. He is their chosen candidate on their home turf. And I can give you a million reasons why even his colleagues in #Congress can't stand him, but in this case a picture is worth a thousand words.

Almost all of Huizenga's energy is spent helping his donors hide assets and deregulating the financial sector. He's done nothing for our water, done nothing for the housing crisis, and done nothing for jobs here. It's literally all about Bill and the people who give him money.

Joseph Alfonso is a family man, and didn't inherit a slew of wealth to play political games with. He's putting his livelihood on the line to give us a choice, and the least we can do is get him on the ballot. He's served his country in the #Marines. He's the leader we need.

The write-in rules for MI make it so Joseph needs one write-in vote for every 20 votes the Governor, SOS, or AG in the district (whichever office gets the most votes in district).

If no Dems voted in the primary, except for 10 who write-in Joseph, he'd be on the ballot.

Realistically, based on historic voting trends, he'll need between 3,000 and 5,000, and given the context of the current primary it's going to be closer to 3,000. This is easily attainable with your help.

We need to tell voters in the district to vote in the Democratic primary, skip the three top statewide offices completely, and write-in Joseph Alfonso for US Congress in District 4.

We especially need voters in Kalamazoo, Battle Creek, St Joseph, and South Haven to hear this.
