5 Ways To Boost Your Productivity And Get To Deep Work In 30 Minutes or Less.

1. Make your work blocks longer.

You've probably heard about the pomodoro technique, and it's excellent.

But it's better to make the work blocks longer, why?
To have a bigger chance of reaching flow.
I prefer 45 minutes of work and a 10 minutes break.
2. Keep a water bottle beside you.

Without good hydration, you can't focus.

And what if you get thirsty while working?
You'd have to leave your work to drink water...
So just keep a bottle beside you!
3. Urinate before working.

Your bladder can distract you, so make sure you empty it before you start working.
4. Create a focus playlist.

It can help you reach flow state 10x faster.

I highly recommend these:

- Borrtex
- Work music lab
Note: Make sure you have a good working environment!
Make sure no one will interrupt you.
Set your devices on Do not disturb.
Extra tip: in your breaks, move... Breathe, and hydrate.
And don't do anything distracting in your breaks.

How you feel has nothing to do with external factors... You're in control of how you feel.
Let's say someone forces you to run a marathon or he will kill your whole family, you might not like it... And perhaps get angry.

Now, what if you run a marathon yourself?
You'd feel proud, good.

Although these are the same things, but you'd not feel the same.

Self-awareness is very hard, why?
Because we're constantly on our minds, not in the present moment

You need to be present to be aware of your actions and thoughts.
How?

An excellent way would be practicing mindfulness.
2. Use the killing ANTs technique.

ANTs are automatic negative thoughts.

And how to kill them?
Let's say, you have the thought: I am dumb... You take a deep breath, and think: NO! I am a learner!

You can't manage what you can't track.
Are you building habits? Track them!
Find a way to track your progress.
Write your progress down.
2. Journal.

Journaling is a very effective way to coach yourself.
And a journal can be more patient that a human coach.
Ask yourself questions, write down your thoughts, know your weaknesses... Be self-aware.
