Crypto defi is becoming increasingly fragmented w/ competing L1s
More so these L1s & dapps are becoming increasingly specialised
Think @swimmer_network #subnet on #AVAX or @dYdX $DYDX launching own @cosmos blockchain

As these L1s / dapps (the lines are blurring...) get increasingly specialised & thus fragmented, they increasingly become reliant on a cross-chain infrastructure that is still being built

Cross-chain solves a MASSIVE problem w/ getting funds from 1 chain/dapp to another

As a #defi mercenary, I want to quickly & securely move funds to the next best opp. wherever that is

That could mean swapping asset-for-asset, or lending 1 asset to borrow another, etc.

My belief is that the L1s & dapps like $NEAR & $TRI that embrace cross-chain will be the ultimate WINNERS of the future

Liquidity brought in by cross-chain partners - likely fueled by incentives - will flow in thru these “gateways”

In a somewhat hidden partnership announcement, an $AVAX DEX signed a partnership agreement w/ @axelarcore back in Sep 2021

That DEX is @pangolindex $PNG

Not investment advice, but IMO that embrace of cross-chain provides a formidable potential tool for $PNG vs. current #1 DEX, @traderjoe_xyz, who’s philosophically decided to focus on #AVAX
