Content warning: Service NSW rant. Also a question: are any other disabled women experiencing episodes similar to the following?

I’ve been trying for 2 and 1/2+ years to fulfill my fitness to drive requirement. In 2020, I was ill w/ Covid and my city was locked down…
2/ I called SNSW & was told that as long as I wasn’t driving, I had 2 yrs beyond the expiry of my license to complete the paperwork. I tried again in 2021. I could not find a GP anywhere who was willing to fill out the form, b/c, you know, Covid. Med facilities were overwhelmed.
3/ I was also still really sick with Long Covid. During this time I had half a dozen conversations with SNSW staff to ensure I wouldn’t lose my license. I was reassured each time. In July this year, I attempted the process again when I received the forms in the mail.

I no longer have patience with CLIMATE science deniers. They and the fossil fuel industry have delayed #ClimateAction for three decades. Now, my country, my second homeland, is on fire. All of it. Every single state. Precious wildlife vanquished. Human life lost. Homes destroyed.
2/ Forests devastated. Kangaroo Island is burning to the ground, along w/ some of the world’s oldest, most unique, irreplaceable species. Our fires are NOT normal. They are driven by global warming and #ClimateChange. World, please hear our cry: We are the canary in the coal mine
3/ Australia is a warning about the #ClimateCrisis gripping our planet. Deniers, step aside and let the rest of us do the work to reverse the damage humans have done to our environment. Lives are at risk. I, for one, am no longer standing by while you stifle efforts to reign

These are the people fleeing, & in some cases, fighting the Turkish army: mothers, grandmothers, children. Erdogan & US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo call them terrorists. But they are brave & loyal friends to America—women & men who battled ISIS for us—now abandoned by Trump.
These are the Kurds; fierce soldiers who “fought like fire” at the tip of the spear for the U.S. They love America. We owe them better than the fate forced on them by a corrupt president making deals with dictators to carve up Syria.
Now they are on the frontlines of a war they cannot win. Despite surprising the Turkish army by attacking on eight fronts along the NE border instead of one, they are overwhelmed by the air and firepower of opposition forces. There have already been civilian casualties.

The #Ukraine call is enough to impeach Trump. His refusal to respond to House subpoenas makes #impeachment even more likely. Despite Democrats’ strategy to keep the impeachment inquiry simple, the House should subpoena the transcript of Trump’s call w/ #Erdogan.
2/ Trump will no doubt refuse to comply. But an #HJC investigation of the #Erdogan call will winnow fact from fiction & eventually yield witnesses, perhaps another whistleblower.
3/ There are critical reasons for looking more closely at the #Erdogan call. On its face, Trump acted unilaterally against a US ally in support of a dictator hostile to that ally — an abuse of presidential power. Digging deeper, the call has an appearance of #QuidProQuo
