The Ukrainian government is accusing #Iran of bringing instructors to occupied parts of #Ukraine to help #Russia launch Shahed-136 drones

According to the statement, the Iranians are based in the settlements of Zalizniy Port, Hladivtsi (Kherson region), and Dzhankoy (Crimea) #Ukraine
The instructors are teaching Russians how to use the drones and directly monitoring their launch including against Mykolaiv and Odesa.

🚩President Erdogan is slated to travel to Kazakhstan today, where he will meet with Putin. A Kremlin source said he is set to formally offer to mediate talks between #Ukraine and #Russia to end the conflict.
#Turkey has been making new calls for diplomacy recently. Other Middle East countries (the UAE amongst others) have also pushed for diplomacy.
I doubt Ankara would do so unless they received some form of unofficial signal from #Russia that it is interested in talks.

Is it me or has something changed in Russian media? They are reporting all of the many strikes against cities in Ukraine and damage to infrastructure, quoting Ukrainian authorities. Seems like they don't care to hide that they are deliberately hitting civilian targets

Four explosions were heard in Kyiv according to Ukrainian media, as air defenses were activated above the city #Ukraine
This is part of a broader attack, also hitting Dnipro , with reports that missiles have been launched at Odesa moments ago
Some of the weapons used appear to be cruise missiles launched by Russian strategic bombers (Tu-95). There are also unconfirmed claim that Iranian drones have been used.
