As the Twitter Space on #MultiversX and #XDay fell short, here's a short thread on what I think about what I heard and read /1 :
There's some interviews, clips and notes about the XDay I can suggest you to look at, mainly @beniaminmincu 's tweets but also @EntityFinance did nice recaps of every day /2
So the main highlight of the XDay(s) was the rebranding of ElrondNetwork to MultiversX. The name is slowly growing on me, ultimately it is aligned to their new(?) direction and philosophy and easy to remember /3
Doesn't really matter if it was related to any legal quarrels or not, it is what it is now. /4
For me the big highlight is the cooperation/hiring of @Improbableio for the metaverse/multiverse baselayer. They are the industry leader and incredibly skilled people work there. If anyone can deliver this it is them. /5
It's the perfect match, our great Blockchain performant infrastructure (although to be fair in my eyes it's not yet battle proven vs Ethereum/Matic or Solana traffic) and their Metaverse expertise. /6
Ultimately the announced products are not on the market yet but they all make sense. The xWorld launch is quite soon and I'm looking forward to it. /7
Nobody knew Apple would become a global power, or Google or Amazon. Will MultiversX be defining the Zeitgeist? I will keep reporting and watching. /8
