Three years ago we knew #Ukraine wouldn't go down without a fight. Now, for the first time in over a year there's genuine reason for #Russia to be worried about the outcome.

100% record in air defence overnight, according to #Ukraine.

Of 83 attack drones fired by #Russia, 61 were shot down by #Ukraine with the other 22 decoys.

I did report a fire in #Sumy last night, but that and damage in #Kharkiv #Poltava + #Kirovohrad were from falling debris.

#Russia's overnight attack was less intense, but still, two attack drones slipped through the net according to #Ukraine's air defence figures.

43 of 61 UAVs were destroyed, with 15 decoy/simulation drones posing no threat and one still flying this morning.

#Russia launched 94 drones from four directions.
60 were shot down and 34 more 'simulators' or others were also stopped.

Some houses in #Kharkiv #Sumy and #Poltava regions were damaged by debris.

At the end of yesterday's thread you may have read of the drone attacks on #Voronezh and #Belgorod regions. Well now it's become clear that #Novgorod has also been attacked by #Ukraine's UAVs..
