In a long thread, the #Salafi community in AFG complaining about continuation of the #Taliban's campaign against them with new schemes. "After closing Salafi schools in most of provinces under the pretext of banning everything that contradicts the Hanafi school of thought, and...
...after restrictions and creating obstacles to Salafi Madrassas in AFG, now the TB started with a new scheme to take over Salafist schools in some provinces, and even in provinces where the percentage of Salafists exceeds 70% (gave example of Badakhshan), by including them in...
...the list of government Madrassas and appointing non-Salafi teachers, and then dismissing the Salafist teachers one after the other..."

#Hostage_situation in #Bannu:
Armed militants of unknown group stormed an installation of the Counter-Terrorism Department (#CTD) of #Pakistan in Bannu, released dozens of prisoners and took 9 PAK security forces, including Major Khorshid Akram (as militants claim) hostages...
...In an unverified video, they claimed that they are 35 people and asking PAK Army to provide them safe #air_transport to #AFG (in ten minutes), in exchange for the release of all hostages. They warned to kill all 9 hostages& will fight till death, if their #demand was rejected.
Note:
While it is early to comment, but the wording of the hostage takers in Bannu (using respectful words to PAK army), their demand (to be airlifted to AFG)& the overall scene, seems to be 'staged'...a #victimization drama of PAK& to prove that AFG is safe haven for terrorists.
#Taliban's spokesman for the Ministry of Public Works:
"Unfortunately, a trailer truck spun out in #Salang, which caught fire& no one can enter the tunnel from the north side. Of course, Salang maintenance personnel have entered the entrance from the south side.
Details later..."
As reported by Reuters, Chinese Foreign Minister recommended #Chinese citizens and organisations to #leave#Afghanistan as soon as possible.
This is exactly what the ISKP attack was expected to achieve.
The #Taliban are failing on all fronts due to their totalitarian& odd regime.
There are reports about an ongoing #attack on a #Hotel popular with Chinese visitors, in Shahr-e Naw area, in the heart of #Kabul City.
According to initial info, an unknown number of attackers entered to the hotel after an explosion& a clash is ongoing between the TB& attackers.
The attackers apparently targeted #Kabul_Longan_Hotel, frequently used by Chinese, in Shahr-e Naw area of #Kabul City.

#Taliban's Kabul Police Spokesman:
"Today, at around 2:30PM, a hotel building in Kabul City's Shahr-e Naw area, where ordinary people were living, was attacked by evil elements. Security forces have reached the area& a clearing operation is ongoing.
Details will be shared later."
A local journalist:
"Fighting between AFG & PAK border forces started in 'Shiro Oba' area, in Spin Boldak-Chaman crossing point (on #Durand_Line), in Kandahar Province.
The #clash started when AFG forces were building new check posts in the area & Pakistani side prevented them."
The #Taliban confirmed clashes in Spin Boldak of Kandahar, but didn't provide details about the reason& casualties.
There are conflicting news about the status of the crossing point. Some sources said it was closed, others reporting about reopening of the gate.

#Taliban's Minister of Propagation of Virtue& Prevention of Vice, Minister of Justice, Minister of Foreign Affairs& Minister of Education, were also among those officials of the IEA who attended the Qisas event in Farah, where the family of a victim killed the murderer in public.
"The killer, Tajmir, son of Ghulam Sarwar, was a resident of Injil District of Herat, who on 12 Oct 2017, brutally stabbed& killed Mustafa son of Abdul Rahman, a resident of Farah's Pusht-e Koh District, and took away motorbike& a mobile phone of the victim with him," TB claimed.
Today's #Qisas in Farah City was the first "#Public_Execution" under the #Taliban 2.0 regime in #Afghanistan.
In recent few weeks, the Taliban started punishment of the convicts in public, including #floggings of women and men on charges of immorality in several provinces of AFG.
