#Astrology#Mula#Nakshtra - Mula Nakshatra is ruled by Nirriti, the goddess of destruction, who is listed in Vedic texts as a form of Rudra.
In Vedic hymns it is also to Rudra, the bowman, to whom one prayers to avert calamity (Nirriti), as in the famous Rudram chant of the Yajur Veda.
So figure of Rudra with his arrow, which also occurs in the Ardra portion of Gemini, gets transferred to Sagittarius on the opposite side of the zodiac based upon the dualism inherent in the zodiac.
Mula is straight, direct and doesn't like to beat about the bush. However, we nevertheless have no option but to carry on with our dissection of its roots.
Its main symbol is a 'tied bunch of roots'. Both its name and symbol emphasize the word Voot' and this asterism literally relates to the Voot' of everything.
The fact that the centre of our galaxy lies in it conveys the same idea.
Just like its planetary ruier Ketu, this asterism deals with getting to the bottom/core of everything.
In the trees and plants roots are usually hidden, which means that this nakshatra deals with all kinds of hidden things, realms, events, motives, propensities etc. The tied bunch of roots also symbolizes the restrictive aspect of this asterism.
This nakshatra also relates to something properly rooted. This gives a strong foundation to the actions of this nakshatra. Its symbol also means collecting or tying up what belongs to one.
Ketu, as we know, is the one who stores past karmas and releases the ones ripe enough to be experienced in the present life. It can help one collect the necessary tools from the past, which one requires in fulfilling one's goal in the present life.
This is suggested by the symbolism of tied roots. Mula thus helps one put together in a meaningful way one's talents, which have developed in past lives.
Just as a tree's roots penetrate into the unseen realms beneath the earth's surface, Mula has a lot to do with investigation into things unseen or unknown.
Along with its counterpart Ardra, (which lies directly opposite in the zodiac), Mula has the strongest and deepest sense of inquiry amongst all the nakshatras.
In light of the above, it is not hard to see that this is not a very pleasant nakshatra.
However, everything is not doom and gloom with this nakshatra. After all, it lies in the luckiest among the signs Sagittarius, which in turn is ruled by the greatest benefic Jupiter.
Mula is a very powerful nakshatra, even on the material plane. It can give worldly status, prosperity etc. The only thing is that it usually takes it all away from the native in question at some point.
This, however, is not uncommon in the sense that death takes away all these things from everyone anyways.
Nritti shouldn't be seen as a goddess of poverty, misfortune and calamity. In fact, her nakshatra represents the peak of material achievement and the beginning of the spiritual impulse.
Mula's primary approach to life is to get to the root of things. It is a relentless nakshatra which will stop at nothing until it has exercised its will.
Obviously not all natives under a strong influence of Mula are this extreme, but they do try to fully utilize whatever will power is available at their command.
It is in Mula's nature to quickly cut out and destroy things that have lost their value.
It is a very impulsive nakshatra. Much more often than not, it regrets its actions in hindsight. Only when its will is in tune with the Universal will, does Mula function in a wise Jupiterian way.
The struggle between individuality and universality reaches its peak here, as individuality is at is peak expression.
The process of individualization begins in Aswini, lionizes in Magha and culminates in Mula. The completed individual seeks experiences beyond the domain of ego and selfcentredness. Mula is still quite a proud and haughty nakshatra.
Mula natives, however, are unable to comprehend their own power and abilities. In some cases, this is a good thing, as their ability to inflict damage upon themselves and others is restricted by their ignorance.
Its dreadful side comes from the negative functioning of Ketu in its lower aspects. It is a powerful asterism which can give dominion and lordship. This can sometimes breed ego, vanity and arrogance which can lead one to perform abominable and demoniac actions.
Among the body parts, it relates to the feet, which emphasizes its capacity to take heavy responsibility, just as the feet take up the load of the body.
As suggested by the symbolism of tied roots, it helps one put together in a meaningful way one's talents, which have developed in past lives.
Although it may sound bizarre, it also promotes non-violence and protects the good.
It is also a magical nakshatra, which either confers magical powers or helps those in need in sudden magical ways. This asterism gives both good or bad results in a blazing explosive way.
It is usually triumphant in all sorts of warfare, but a downfall does take place at some point of time.
This obviously is in reference to Mula's destructive quality. It is Mula's job to cut away anything which has outlived its usefulness.
Death, which is essentially cutting the cord between the astral and physical body, is a kind of universal butchery, which in a way is a liberating and regenerative process.
It is a Hard, Sharp and Dreadful nakshatra. Its sharpness relates to the sharp and often harsh way Ketu functions. This relates more to the destructive aspect of Ketu. Sometimes sharpness is necessary to initiate an important change and wake us up from our sleep.
It is an intense nakshatra which initiates spiritual transformation. For understanding its hard and dreadful side, all one needs to do is look at its image.
Hanuman as well as Ravana are born on Mula Nakshatra and both were themselves responsible for their destiny. One chose the power of destruction and the other the power of devotion!
Ravana the mightiest Titan King and sorcerer of Silver Age was born in Mula Nakshatra. As narrated in Ramayana, he gained immense power and lordship over the three worlds through rigorous penances aimed at pleasing Lord Shiva.
This shows Mula's ability to gain power on a universal level through a close association with the root forces.
He however fell prey to the haughty, bashful and unwise aspect of Mula energy and met his end as a villain in the hands of Rama, the 7th incarnation of Vishnu according to his Karmaphala. He was born with Rajoguna dominating.
See the contrast. Lord Hanuman also born in Mula Nakshatra is an ardent devotee of Lord Sri Rama and is widely known for his unflinching devotion to Sri Rama.
He is Chirnjeevi and came out victorious on many situations threatened with death— challenge with Sun, Simhika, burning of his tail in Lanka-dahana etc. Hanuman is the symbol of strength and energy.
He is said to be able to assume any form at will, wield the mace (including many celestial weapons), move mountains, dart through the air, seize the clouds and equally rival Garuda in swiftness of flight.
Lord Hanuman is worshiped as a deity with the ability to attain victory against evil and provide protection.
He was born with Sattvaguna predominating and with lot of good Sanchita Karma and continued with ascending spiritual goal and achieved the status of Chiranjeevi to be ever present with us.
This clearly shows in whatever situation you are born you are still bound by your Karma which you can shape by your own strong determination or spoil it by your own will.
In the 15th chapter of Bhagavadgita, Bhagavan Sri Krishna talks about the ashwattha tree which is reverse, with its roots on top (in svarga) and the branches and leaves are at the bottom...In bhuloka. This is the tree of samsara (world).
Moola nakshatra is all about these karmic roots, which are making you take birth. The 19th nakshatra (Moola) is the Adhana Tara nakshatra (Janma tara of 3rd cycle), holding the key to your present birth!
While Moola indicates the prarabdha karma that brought us to Martyaloka (Mrityuloka), Ardra nakshatra, which indicates the leaves of the tree of our existence, points at the tears, which are a manifestation of our karmas.
Moola refers to the Mula prakriti (also called pradhAna), which is the root of all manifestation in this Universe, as Vishnu nAbhi is located here.
Most importantly Moola nakshatra signifies the beginning of battle (Sagittarius is battle field- Dharma kshetre kuruk shetre) that's chaotic life and the presiding Devi is Nirrtti or KaLi.
Moola nakshatra is the mulatrikona of Jupiter, who is very strong in execution of his duty as the divine teacher and the upholder of dharma, as Sagittarius is the natural house of dharma and bhagya (good fortune).
Moola nakshatra represents the Muladhara chakra of the manifest universe.... Vastu purusha, whose head lies in Gemini in Ardra, as that is the Ishanya koNa or the North East.
Moola nakshatra / Sagittarius represent the South West or Nairuti koNa, which should be weighed by heavy objects, so if you have heavy planets there, it is good.
Mooladhara is base of spine...not feet! Spiritual person, but might be impractical. But if Jupiter is there, the complexion changes!
Moola nakshatra is also said to be nakshatra of Nila Saraswati (Tara) while Revati is the nakshatra associated with Sveta Saraswati...High knowledge is assured!
In South India, Hanuman's birth star is considered to be Poorva bhadrapada.
But yes, the control of the legs and feet starts here...One's gati....gatistvam gatistvam twameka bhavani...this is the root of Adi Shankara's immortal prayer.
Mercury governs all gandanta nakshatras indicating that knowledge alone can take one across.
Also, knowledge is the only thing one can carry across the birth cycle. Mercury is the student, who is rightly humble (debilitated) in the house of Guru.
Again, Mercury is the only planet which can give neechabhanga to self.
Usually dhwaja / flag is flown from important buildings or from chariots in battle fields. The flag of each warrior is different and illustrates his character and capability.
The ownership of Moola by Ketu marks this as a very important nakshatra in your evolution towards moksha. Krishna and Arjuna's chariot had Kapidhwaja or flag with Hanuman, indicating and bringing the energy and invincibility of Rudra.
The 9th house shows Bhagya or destiny, which is ruled by Moola nakshatra.

#Astrology : #Rahu(North node) mooltrikona sign they say is #Virgo.
Why ?
because its marak to the Sun and hence 2nd to the sign Leo.
Virgo is the 6th to the Aries ascendant- Natural horoscope .
The 6th represents hidden enemies. Why ?
Because Rahu means darkness. Rahu is
invisible.
the Sun who is actually the Vishnu Sudarshan Chakra, cuts the axis of Rahu Ketu , which is why Rahu is poisonous because the serpents head contains poison. So Rahu thus represents poisons. The Sun signifies heart and the eye too, hence Rahu eclipsing causes heart
trouble and eye disease too.

#Astrology: #Saturn in #Aquarius
-With a razor-sharp focus and a very steady mind, Saturnian Aquarius natives are exceptionally efficient and productive, and they give off the impression that the future might actually go toward a higher level with them doing their job.
-However, with a scientific and logical mind such as theirs, the future might not hold such a great potential for them, because they see the world for what it is, filled with degenerated mindsets, stupidity, ignorance, and superficiality.
-Moreover, these natives appear to
have an immense power hidden deep within, that only comes to the surface when they most need it.
-Whenever a situation becomes too dire, or when disaster is imminent, they manage to get on their feet, rise from the ashes of their own downfall, and gather
