& @Ofstednews have an insufficient understanding of child protection to enable them to effectively safeguard the nations children. There seems to be no oversight & no accountability from anyone. This includes @ChildrensComm. @UKParliament is in complete dereliction of duty

& seems to have forgotten that under 18’s are children & that every child matters. Even worse than @Conservatives washing their hands of their duty of care, is @UKLabour failing to provide any effective opposition, they are missing in action, only occasionally appearing to point

out they could make things worse. This lack of oversight, lack of accountability, lack of acknowledgement that under 18’s are children & all are worthy of protection has resulted in an entire generation being failed in multiple ways. Vulnerable children are not getting the help

& support that they both deserve & need leaving them at the mercy of predators. Children are groomed in so many different ways, sexual exploitation, county lines, far right, religious extremism, misogyny & as we’ve seen from innumerable examples in @Headteacherchat’s thread

gender identity ideology. What is particularly pernicious about gender identity ideology is that whilst schools are at least attempting to combat other forms of online indoctrination & grooming, rather than challenge the homophobic & misogynistic misinformation children have read

online about ‘gender identity’ some schools are reinforcing the damaging lies via activist teachers & political propaganda that @educationgovuk have funded with public money & unions such as @NEUnion push with no regard for child #safeguarding. This is a national safeguarding

scandal & schools are in crisis. As can be seen from @Headteacherchat’s thread, with a few exceptions from activists & the woefully misinformed (who need to revisit their #safeguarding training & do a huge amount of reflection), there is widespread agreement between teachers &

parents about what has been one of the very worst results of this ignoring of our established safeguarding frameworks & practices. #DoYourJob @GillianKeegan & do it now, or step aside for someone who actually understands child #safeguarding. #edutwitter #WomenEd #teachertwitter
