human #bigotry is truly mere #snobbery, applied to human beings on specious criteria—mostly to do with personal appearance. dedicated bigots like @charlesmurray, @EPoe187, @SwipeWright, and other such charlatans waste a lot of time on their exact ranking system for people.

the snob is someone who regards themselves as better than everyone around them, i.e. they assert their *social dominance* over everyone around them. @mtaibbi, appalling celebrity press flack that he is, really imagines himself to be _superior_ to most people.
