NYTimes created an individual Twitter account and wrote an automated computer program that could scour the platform for the content without displaying the actual images.

Abuse material up for a month wasn't removed til manually flagged by Child Protection.

In the first few hours of searching, the computer program found a number of images previously identified as abusive — and accounts offering to sell more. Times flagged the posts w/o viewing any images, sending the web addresses to services run by Microsoft and the Canadian center

This material had to be reported MULTIPLE TIMES by Child Protection Services- and even then, it was not taken down immediately. This is regards to OBVIOUS material that is KNOWN to Protection services already.

Victims appeared 150+ times, multiple accounts, most recently Thurs.

The finding by the time were reviewed and CONFIRMED by Canadian Center for Child Protection

The CA Child Protection group found multiple instances of content with 100k+ engagements on Twitter of KNOWN explicit video content of CSAM.

Twitter remains unsafe. To state otherwise is an egregious lie by Elon Musk, Ella Irwin, and Eliza Bleu.

CSAM content is found with "MINIMAL EFFORT." They don't have the staff.

“The volume we’re able to find with a minimal amount of effort is quite significant,” said Lloyd Richardson. “It shouldn’t be the job of external people to find this sort of content sitting on their system.”

Content reporting is having problems, and MANY CSAM Twitter accounts reported by The Times in Dec 2022/Jan 2023 REMAIN ACTIVE and are even shown as "WHO TO FOLLOW."

After the transition to Mr. Musk’s ownership, DATA shows Twitter reacted MORE SLOWLY to the center’s notifications of sexual abuse content.

John Shehan, an executive at NCMEC, said he was worried about the “high level of turnover” at Twitter and where the company “stands in trust and safety and their commitment to identifying and removing child sexual abuse material from their platform.”

Late last year (AFTER ELON MUSK TOOK OWNERSHIP), the company’s response time was MORE THAN DOUBLE what it had been during the same period a year earlier under the prior ownership, even though the center sent it FEWER alerts.

Canadian Child Protection, said it had seen delays as long as a WEEK. In one instance, a video of a child aged 8-10 was detected. The organization said it sent out daily notices for about a week before Twitter removed the video.

AND Twitter HAS NOT REPORTED the 'alleged' hundreds of thousands of accounts suspended for CSAM they have bragged about.

Reporting is LEGALLY REQUIRED even if the account only solicits the material, but Twitter has declined to report these accounts.
