#RichaGhosh, remember the name. The Siliguri girl's prodigious skills are backed up by sincere dedication and a determined head on her teenage shoulders. @13richaghosh
"Richa started playing when she was around four years old. I used to take her to the club that I had represented at one time. I found out that she was not restless; she used to sit and watch the matches, used to pick the bat and played but never nagged about going home.
I also tried to get her to join table tennis but she was not interested as she tossed the bat after a couple of shots, saying 'I want to play cricket", recalls her proud father Manabendra Ghosh, a former club-level cricketer.
Her mother adds, "There's not even a single glass on our windows that she hasn't broken, and every time she does that, she'll simply keep her tongue in between her teeth!"
Looking forward to more of those stunning back-to-back boundaries from this future superstar!

Your green cover, birds chirping, women giggling while going to the well, and children playing in the pond. I miss that all.
The birds chirping was my alarm for the day; the giggling of the woman going to the well to fill water, the children jumping in the pond, I miss that all.
Both of us have forgotten each other. Maybe I have failed you more than I used to love you.

In 2012, Lalita's face was severely disfigured when her cousin threw acid at her over some minor argument at a family wedding in her home town of Azamgarh in Uttar Pradesh.
"
So many surgeries later, too, my face was deformed.
In need of a change, I moved from Azamgarh to Kalwa in Thane near Mumbai," says Lalita.
One day, Lalita dialled the wrong number. Or so she thought.
A fortnight after making the call, the Mumbai woman received a call back from the number.
