Learning and teaching are not two sides of the same coin.

They're two different coins that can buy you different things.

A 🧡 for serial builders who are keen to start their creator-teacher journey

Learning can make you an expert, but teaching can make you a master.
Teaching is not just about making money.

It's about sharing knowledge and empowering others to become creators and builders.
Making money from teaching is not a dirty word.

It's a smart move that allows you to invest in your own learning and growth.
If you're a founder, investor, engineer, consultant, marketer, or expert in anything, you have a valuable skillset that can change lives.

Share it with the world.

#teachyourpassion #teachyourtruth
If you're building a new startup or brand, share your journey in public.

Learning and teaching are not just about the exchange of information.

They're about the creation of community and the building of relationships.

Personal story:

I have nearly 25 years of creative-builder-marketer-founder experience.

I've worked with global startups and Fortune 500 brands.

I've designed training modules and mentored designers, programmers, writers, and agency owners.
But I'm not teaching online.

For a long time, I didn't care about getting followers on Twitter.

Maybe you're like me, who doesn't care about vanity metrics, and have a general dislike for the big wild online game that we're part all part of, whether you want to be or not.
Here's the thing:

You have to play the game in order to be relevant in the world we live in today.

If you don't play the game, you don't exist.
Building is easy, distribution is hard.

Creating is easy, finding customers is super hard.
Don't build in private.

Don't build in isolation.

Don't build forever.
Start reaching out, following, sharing your journey here on Twitter.

Come out of your shell, and start teaching in public.
That's what I'm doing here, writing, sharing, learning, building in public over the past couple of weeks.

I have been out of practice for some time, but I'm getting a hang of it β€” thanks to everyone with whom I've interacted directly or indirectly here on Twitter.
Stop doubting yourself.

You CAN do this too.

You ARE ready to learn, teach and build in public.

And I'm looking forward to learning from you!
PS. Follow my journey here on Twitter.

I'm sharing stories and insights as I build a future of work protocol to connect startups with global talent and capital.

I'll be launching a startup incubator program soon.

It's a big problem, and honestly, sometimes it can feel a little lonely and daunting.

Global unemployment is expected to remain above pre-COVID-19 levels until at least 2023. The 2022 level is estimated at 207 million, compared to 186 million in 2019.

πŸ‘€πŸ’ Have you ever wondered where all the talented people are and what they're up to?πŸ€”

A super insightful take by @eladgil on talent and human capital flow on @aarthir & @sriramk podcast:

🧐Society has shifted its allocation of people to certain industries and it's affecting the average IQ in different fields over time.

πŸ€”What does this mean for society as a whole? How should we reward certain professions to attract human capital back to fields that are lacking?
πŸ’‘ A spread of smart people throughout society is crucial for all sorts of functions.

🚨 But, imagine if every single smart person was at Google. That would be really bad for society! 🀯

You deserve to be happy. You deserve to be wealthy.

Happiness is a choice. Wealth is a choice.

🧡 A thread prompted by a vital passage in @Naval's book (pg. 72):
If you’re rich, you’re evil.

I was yoked to this toxic mindset until my late twenties.

Today while we were discussing @naval's book at home, we reached a surprising conclusion:

"Money-positive mindset is god-positive mindset."

This is no small insight. It was a big moment!
Here's why:

Naval grew up in New Delhi, where I currently live.

Just like Naval, I grew up in a middle-class Indian family with a room full of books.
