Do humans deserve to survive as the dominant species in this world?
IMHO, no. The world is better of without us. A serious of videos will only prove that we evolved from apes.

(4/n) I really don't care if humans are wiped out from this world. They are most undeserving. We've got to protect the other species that co-exist.

Species that went extinct or will be include Saila, North Atlantic Right Whale, Gharial, Amur Leopard, Indian Cheetah, White
(5/n) Cross River Gorilla, Giant Panda, Sumatran Elephant.... The list can go on.

Kolkata hitting 43 degrees hotter than Rajasthan summer or snowslide in Sikkim should be a warning bell for us. 75% of the earth’s species need to go extinct over about 2.8 million years...
(6/n) These periods of mass extinction have resulted in the loss of 98 % of all organisms. The signs are there but as stupid as we are, we are not seeing it. Time to act

@twitter can be such a great accoutre to discuss so many important social imperatives yet we squabble over the most abhorrent issues. For example #DigitalInclusion. Today there are close to 1 bn people with #disabilities globally. How many of those are in India? We don't (1/2)

#Kolkata was the citadel of rock music between 80s & late 90s having some of the most talented musicians in the world. Then came "Bangla Rock". It killed some amazing music just gestating. Folks from all over the world would come to the annual Open Air Theater to watch a (1/n)
(2/n) 3 day Woodstock like concert. I remember the underdog Fahrenheit making it's debut during a 1988. I was a teen my legs shaking as I see thousands of people cheering & giving us the motivation. Then rock died for a long time until I heard my friend's nephew Josh & Dipan. Image
(3/n) Josh & Dipan, barely in their early 20s gives me hope. 2 amazingly talented musicians likely to bring back #Kolkata to her glory days. My bud Deep & Rajat (both part of a band I played with briefly) just collaborated with Josh & Dipan to deliver one of the best renditions.
