1️⃣ SEC Identifies Algorand and Five Other Tokens as Securities amidst Bittrex Case
The #SEC claims that listing of tokens OMG, Dash, ALGO, Monolith (TKN), Naga (NGC) and IHT Real Estate Protocol (IHT) on #Bittrex constituted unregistered securities offerings.

Quite interesting considering that previously, Gensler had promoted/commended the #Algorand token, one of the six under fire.
This promotion falls under the Securities Act of 1933 and the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, which regulates the offer and sale of securities

2️⃣ Flashbots rolls out MEV-Share to distribute profits with Ethereum users
#Flashbots, a blockchain R&D org focused on reducing the negative effects of MEV in blockchains, has finally rolled out its MEV-revenue share to distribute profits to Ethereum users.
#Flashbots, a blockchain R&D org focused on reducing the negative effects of MEV in blockchains, has finally rolled out its MEV-revenue share to distribute profits to Ethereum users.
The revenue share is incorporated into Flashbots Protect, an RPC tool that integrates into users wallets, which essentially protects users from bots that manipulate the transaction order.
For those not familiar with #MEV- Maximal Extractable Value - here’s a simplified explanation. It is the maximum value a blockchain miner/ validator can make from producting a block. it is extracted by manipulating the the order of transactions in an orderblock - eg a frontrun
Flashbots aims to democratise MEV profits, by giving users the tools to get control over the execution of their orders
