I often get asked about intermittent fasting, eating, and exercise, so here's my view.
If you're fasting and do light to moderate intensity exercise, such as walking at a good clip, you don't need to break your fast before or after the exercise.
Fasting combined with walking can help fat loss and increase insulin sensitivity. sciencedirect.com/science/articl…
If you lift weights or do other high-intensity exercise, you can do it fasting, but you should *always* eat afterward, at least a whey shake if not more.
Muscles and the rest of your body are primed for amino acids and other nutrients after lifting weights. If you don't eat, you're doing nothing but breaking down muscle. You don't want that.
