Last Saturday I visited the abandoned Coventry Evening Telegraph building

It’s an amazing place, vacated in 2012 but most of the interior untouched since the 1950s

Here are just a few of the photos I took 📝📸
The site is being looked after by arts collective @CETpopup for the next few months ahead of the inevitable demolition / repurposing.

Go & see it now, before it’s all lost...
So let’s start the explore of a building that once had 600 people working on the evening daily...
Going to post photos from each of these floors but apologies in advance if I label things incorrectly, get rooms wrong or get printing terms incorrect (very likely)

Last May, I visited a Greek restaurant in Wolverhampton with an atmosphere so profoundly unnerving that it has haunted my subconscious ever since. Now, after 13 months of uneasy silence, I am finally ready to tell its story. I'm ready to tell you the Tragedy of Mr Darius.
Our tale begins on an overcast evening in early summer. As the pavement outside is flecked with tepid rain, the proprietor - we'll call him Adrian - is inviting in the first group booking. Maybe they're a hen party. Inside, the dim air smells of souvlaki.
Adrian is a gigantic man; an affable ogre cast in the shape of a cathedral bell, with a voice to match, and surprisingly nimble musician's fingers. As the guests are shown to their seats, they are too engrossed in each other to notice the way he anxiously licks his lips.

3. KJU looks like a happy, FREED man. Strings were cut last Nov during @realDonaldTrump's Asia trip (Forbidden City). Last night we learned Blackwater is on guard. KJU is safe. POTUS early departure because this part of "The Plan" is a done deal. Iran next.

Here’s my story (1/17)
First, some background.

Over the past few years, I’ve become interested in using Bayesian inference to complement my frequentist inferences. So, I put together a short presentation on Bayesian alternatives for NHST for my research group. (2/17)
Rather than limiting my presentation to the people that attended, I posted the slide deck on @OSFramework (OSF), so that anyone could access it. I’m ALWAYS looking for ways to repurpose my work for different mediums, so posting these slides online fit the bill nicely. (3/17)

Last week, I visited Puerto Rico with other members of the Massachusetts congressional delegation. We witnessed awe-inspiring destruction, American citizens lacking basics like power and water for months, and public servants dedicated to helping fellow Americans recover.
First stop: a hospital for disabled children. They're having trouble keeping the lights on. These solar panels were provided by @tesla, but they must be connected to the electrical grid as a secondary source, and the utility co. wasn't returning calls to provide the link.
.@FEMA isn't able to upgrade infrastructure–they can only replace what existed before a disaster. A well-intentioned law, it results in expensive repairs to outdated components. I'll be looking into a fix so we can invest in modern, resilient systems as we replace what's broken.
