It is not my job to fix the massive array of personal failures that lead someone to vote for Trump.
1/
It is not my job to educate them on why it's important to give a damn about others.
It isn't my job to persuade them that being racist or supporting one makes someone suck as a person.
2/
If a person acted out of ignorance, it's on them to seek out an education.
If a person acted selfishly, it's on them to develop better character.
3/
I absolutely cannot stand people who experience some form of personal hardship and react as if they just discovered that hardship actually exists in the world.
4/
5/
If you didn't think it was horrible before it was you, I'm the wrong tree to shake for empathy.
6/
I ain't taking on the freight of 'fixing' people who arrived at adulthood caring only for themselves though. That's on them.
7/
That ain't me though nor will it be in the future. I'd rather invest 100 hours in reaching the disengaged than 1 hour trying to persuade someone on the wrong side - by choice
