1/14: I know a lot of you ADORE rocket artillery systems.

There was a parade in North Korea on Oct. 10 and they showed this 👇

Some accounts who built up their audiences from the Ukraine war jumped on it and didn't explain diddly squat.

Let's fix that!!! Image

2/14: What we all saw at the Oct. 10 parade in Pyongyang was a new wheeled rocket artillery system that adopted a multi-payload launcher.

Comparisons with Lockheed Martin's HIMARS are fair, esp with the truck's singpe cab layout, until you notice how today's rocket artillery is designed.Image

1/12: Very glad to have a niche account with a solid audience backing it.

I've been thinking about this topic for a few weeks now. Might as well discuss it at some length.

I'm convinced NORTH KOREANS ARE READING MY ARTICLES AND PASSING IT ON TO THEIR GOV'T

Explanation below... Image 2/12: So in January 2022 I write about North Korean combat drones. I specifically mention the Israeli-made Harpy/Harop.

Guess what happens 2.5 years later? Image

So earlier today we got a photo gallery from North Korea showing an armored vehicle production site.

I will focus on this oddball and how it even makes Warhammer 40k lore seem inadequate by comparison: Image 2/12

Now there are competing names for NK miltech. My preferred method are simple descriptions like "Big rocket-tracked" or "weird 2020 MBT" 😆

Often labelled "KN-25" what this tracked vehicles does is carry six gargantuan missiles. Here are its missiles: Image

As promised...here's a thread on all my writing about "kamikaze drone" attacks orchestrated by #Russia vs. #Ukraine

On the first seven days of July the Ukrainians claim to have shot down 21. Since September 2022 the Ukrainians shot down 1,092 Geran/Shahed drones. 2/9

My update for June-July is below. Findings:

In 2 mos. Russia managed to unleash several hundred Geran/Shahed drones vs. Ukraine. Huge volume.

Ukraine needs more air defenses!

Just a quick #thread on a topic being ignored that's connected to the war in #Ukraine

It seems #Iran after all is the biggest winner as, for the first time in its history, it gains full access to a huge market: Russia.

The world forgets #Iran is an industrialized country. 2/6

This week it was announced Iranian entities--mainly gov't owned high tech manufacturers--are poised to fill in as subcontractors and suppliers for Russia's car industry, which has ground to a halt since March.

Some of you might find this thread interesting.

With the #USA embroiled in Europe bec. of the war in Ukraine it has ignored #Iran whose current agenda is: building an economic bloc in Eurasia.

The effort is an impressive one, and very ambitious. 2/7

This has nothing to do with the usual #Iran fodder about drones or missiles and everything to do with trade.

The big picture that emerges is #Iran is laying the groundwork for a post-oil export driven economy.

A genuine surprise is the sudden friendship with #Tajikistan

THREAD!

Let's have a thread on rocket artillery.

#RocketArtillery

The Good News: Everybody likes them!!!

The Bad News: The US military and major western powers can't compete 😒

1/-- The current trend among militaries who are supplied by national "defense" industries with rocket artillery is to go bigger...and bigger.

Don't look at #NorthKorea

How about #India ?

2/--
