When I first invested in #AMC early 2021 I decided I would hold until company was profitable regardless of share price. Who knows how big company can get, how brand can transform, or how high stock can go when conditions are right on buy side & w/ pressure on shorts increasing. Only time I made money on was the June 18 $40 calls. But that's OK! I got my shares and am adding when I can. You measure your investment not from the share price but how company is performing. If financials improving, and shorts have big positions, they will get squozen again!

It seems highly possible that brokers are just crediting our accounts with shares that they don't actually hold. Where a #NakedShort sold shares to us thru their broker that our brokers never bother to make sure was really borrowed / located. #AMC This is why the #APE market cap / share outstanding numbers never added up, why the avg per #AMC shareholder is so low, and why the #FTDs are so high

This ape makes good point, and I've thought same thing myself. Maybe AA wants to get the true share count exposed and this lawsuit is a plot to get that done. Allegheny is funded by Blackrock who definitely has a vested interest in #AMC rising. (1)
(2) at first I assumed they want to block the conversion and RS, taking Allegheny comments in case at face value. It could be that simple, Allegheny trying to block RS / conv. Or, it could be a big plan to expose the true share count.
