Today marks the 3rd anniversary of the creation of the Governor’s Office of Volunteer Services. GOVS oversees a network of volunteer & faith-based organizations assisting Alabamians in areas ranging from education, health care, substance abuse, homelessness, to disaster recovery. According to the @NationalService, over 1 million Alabamians volunteered in 2018. We appreciate GOVS impact on our state and commitment to recruit and motivate others to help their communities. @SERVEAL @AmeriCorps
