1.  We note the fact that a large number of positive cases have emerged associated with the #TablighiJamaath meeting in Delhi is very likely because those who attended the gathering and their contact networks were specifically tested in large numbers. 2. We note that many of these cases were asymptomatic, i.e. current testing protocol will not pick them up. We have no idea of how many such asymptomatic cases might exist because of the lack of large-scale planned testing.

1. At this time solidarity is important and gestures of solidarity are welcome. But when crores light lamps, we caution that there is a huge prospect of violation of physical distancing (as witnessed on March 22nd). 2. A major worry is false inference, with claims of mass-lighting leading to a solution for #COVID19 pandemic. Viruses interact with molecules, cells, and tissues in a purely physical & chemical manner. No evidence that shouting, singing, or #lighting,will influence these actions
