Today is menstrual hygiene day, a very important day for women all over the world.
The day is the 28th May because menstrual cycles average 28 days in length and women menstruate an average of five days each month. (May is the fifth month of the year.).

Today is international women's day and here is a thread of what i wish for us ! #InternationalWomensDay
- that women all over the world have access to education. In some part of the world some women dont go to school just because people believe it is not a necessity to educate a women since her futur husband will take care of her anyways.
Way too often i hear some people say that the oppression of women in society has nothing to do with their sex. And when i hear this, i feel insulted as an african woman since "Sex based oppression" is part of our everyday life. This is a thread about some of those issues.
