I think there are some very good steps taken by the SLTDA in this plan, but there are also quite a few questionable decisions too.

WE HIT $100,000 IN BOOKINGS FOR A HOTEL IN MARCH!🚀💰

In just about 2.5 months, we took one of our hotel clients from doing $5K monthly on Booking.com to crossing $100,000 in bookings for March! This is growth of epic proportions.

Here is a 🧵 on what we did! Let me start off with the fun part; the actual campaign strategy we used. So, when we launched this campaign, we saw how well it was working, and I actually tweeted about it a few weeks ago, asking the SLTDA if they could implement something similar.

One of our 5-star hotel clients has now consistently ranked number #1 on Booking.com for avg revenue and avg booking nights in the ENTIRE market. It isn't even a part of one of the big chains!

Here is a 🧵 on how we nailed our strategy during the toughest of times. The hotel was doing great right after Sri Lanka opened up after COVID in September 2021. We were getting traffic to the website, and bookings were flowing in. We were maintaining an avg occupancy rate of 80% consistently till March 2022.

MOVING TO BALI FOR A #SRILANKAN 🏝! So here is a 🧵 on how you can potentially move to Bali, live here, and earn a source of foreign revenue while in #Bali. Keep in mind Indonesia is not a straightforward option for long-term migration, but an option for short/medium term stays. So, I would like to reiterate that Indonesia is NOT a long-term migration option. As far as I know, there is no direct route for a PR, unless an employer sponsors you for a job. But, it is a great way to get away from the #EconomicCrisisLK at least in the short /medium term.
