For whatever reason, this tweet got a lot of replies and rather than ignore them, I decided to read them and noticed for people eager to deny they were in a cult, their responses were very cultish. They fell into a few types.
The most substantive were those whose said the #OnlyBernie hashtag reflected Bernie being the only one arguing the nomination should go to the candidate with a plurality-even though that is not what the rules allow. Not one of them seem to know Bernie argued the opposite in 2016
It is also very clear people do not know the difference between an idea and a policy. Bernie has ideas, not policies. He has slogans and outlines, but if he had a M4All policy he could answer reporters' questions about cost and implementation.
. #OnlyBernie with his tiny slice of the electorate (27% of the 30% who vote in Dem primaries) thinks he can get the other 90% of America to vote for a Socialist.

#OnlyBernie trending is an unnecessary reminder than Bernie is only about Bernie. It's a cult not a movement and it's about him, not about policy. If it were about policy they would not support such an incompetent underachiever.
Those who point out that #OnlyBernie said the candidate with the plurality of votes coming into the convention should get the nomination even though the rules require a majority need to know that Bernie was advocating the SDs overturn the nomination in 2016 despite HRC majority
So that claim is more of the rank opportunism that has always been a Bernie hallmark. Those who call him Amendment King need to know he is not, he was the Roll Call Amendment King - you know the amendments people grandstand with for C-Span.
