I have to begin with yet more war crimes in the #Kherson region.

#Russia just cannot cope with #Ukraine de-occupying the city and tries to take revenge each day.

Tonight it was yet more thermite incendiary devices in civilian areas - two videos to show:

Important to stress this is NOT phosphorus being dropped on #Kherson's residents by #Russia's army.

However using thermite near residents is a war crime, and we can see here, people filmed the display from windows of their apartments

In y'day's thread I wrote about some members of Russian society leaving flowers to express sympathy with the people of #Dnipro after #Russia's terrorist attack

However unconfirmed reports police went to the Lesia Ukrainka monument trying to catch those feeling sorry for #Ukraine

In #Kyiv, some of the apartment blocks most seriously damaged by #Russia's bombs, have been completely renovated.

This is in the central Shevchenkivskyi district. Got to say it's incredibly quick work, even more so when you remember this is a country still at war.

I've not had direct contact from the #Bakhmut front for a while, but it is getting increasingly more difficult for #Ukraine

Incremental gains are being made by #Russia. DeepState reports "a significant part of Klishchiivka" (S of Bakhmut) was captured.

Tragedy near #Kyiv this morning

Five people are known to have died when a helicopter crashed into a kindergarten in the town of #Brovary.

No children are among the victims.

This is an accident and not thought to be related to the war.

Among the victims are two children who died on the ground, and #Ukraine's Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Denys Monastyrskyi.

The First Deputy Minister & State Secretary have also been killed

Another update from the helicopter crash in #Brovary.

The death toll is now 18, including 3 children.

29 others were wounded, including 15 children.

Reliable reports of an attack by #Ukraine's Resistance in the occupied part of #Zaporizhzhia region.

There was an explosion in #Kyrylivka, 60km south of Melitopol, on the coast.
Local RIA channel says the well known Smirnov mansion was attacked. They have Russians staying there.

At the #WEF, First Lady of #Ukraine Olena Zelenskyy was close to tears after learning of the helicopter tragedy just before her speech.

Latest numbers:
17 (4 children)
25 people were injured, including 11 children.
One other child is still unaccounted for.

Although the helicopter disaster in #Kyiv region is an accident, there's a good argument to say it would not have happened if there was no war.

Any internal flight has to keep to very low altitudes, which increases risks of accidents.

18 died in #Brovary.

The US has transferred around 150,000 artillery shells from Israel - they'll soon be in #Ukraine.

Another load of 150,000 X 155mm munitions are expected to come directly from America.

A letter's emerged, written by Army supremo General Gerasimov at the end of last month.

In it he confirms #Wagner is not part of the Russian army, therefore cooperation with the mercenaries is impossible.

During the afternoon the death toll was revised down from 18 to 14.

Earlier today #Ukraine's Air Forces shot down one more Russian Ka-52 attack helicopter and a new Merlin-VR reconnaissance drone.
