Hello again. We've reached day 395 of the war.

#Russia's forward momentum in #Ukraine appears to have stalled and splits and tensions are starting to show among the illegal invaders, from the top down.

Here's another daily thread with #Ukraine news updated throughout the day.

Now the usual numbers game.
Another 720 wasted lives and grieving families in #Russia as illegal invaders are sacrificed to #Putin.

Not much else of note except 9 MLRS equipment and a helicopter destroyed.

I missed this last night,

Alleged to be remarkable testimony of the state of #Russia's army, riddled with criminality and discontent. "They want to destroy the witnesses."

Vodyane is a small town around 10km west of #Donetsk city and SW of #Avdiivka

The daily Intel update from the UK confirms Defence not Attack is now the main intent from #Russia.

I take the stories of Russians fleeing from occupied lands with a pinch of salt, but this is maybe leading up to it!

Just 140km from the border with #Ukraine another warehouse is ablaze.

This is in the town of #Aksay near #Rostov.
Russian Emergency servies will only say "cellulose products" are burning and the fire now covers 1,200m sq.

Another prominent opposition politician in #Russia has been poisoned. The FSB seems to prefer poisoning (Yushchenko, Navalny, Skripal et al).

Now one of the few anti-Putin voices who stayed in Russia, Elvira Vikhareva, has also been targeted. Translation of @Sota_Vision's story:

At the landmark "Moscow City" complex in the west of #Russia's capital, a fire erupted.

An electricity transformer substation on a building site seems to have denazified itself!
No casualties.

Just south of #Moscow, a saboteur used fireworks to set fire to the "board of honour" at the council building in #Podolsk

The arsonist escaped.

Shelling this morning in occupied #Makiivka in the #Donbas.

Obviously this is being blamed on #Ukraine by the Russian authorities. Unless there was intel on invaders using these buildings, it seems unlikely.

England play #Ukraine tomorrow at Wembley in a @EURO2024 qualifier.

However, there's a chance Ukraine could be thrown out of the tournament for political interference.
UAF President Andriy Pavelko was a former MP with @poroshenko's party and is under investigation for corruption

I am trying to get an interview with Pavelko who maintains the accusations are politically motivated, but has not spoken since apparently being arrested in November.

Last month a court tried to suspend him from the role of #Ukraine's football President.

Never nice to see people supporting #Ukraine exposed as charlatans. There's a lot of bitterness and sometimes false accusations so I steer clear until the truth comes up.

But now this has to be exposed and continued investigations 😟

#Putin has just confirmed what many of us suspected for a while... #Russia will deploy nukes in #Belarus.

Belarus has become a vassal state under Lukashenko and although it will be a very unpopular move among the people, there's little they can do.

#Ukraine's General Staff says it had to repel 50 Russian attacks today, despite thoughts the invaders may be switching to defence.

"The enemy is concentrating its main efforts on conducting offensive actions in the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiiv, and Marin areas."

#Germany is on the brink of expelling 30+ diplomats from #Russia.

Nancy Faeser, chief of Federal Criminal Police, said in a recent interview that "Russian secret services were constantly attacking and decisive action must be taken against Moscow's spies."

Flames at the "Fregate" plant in Voskresensk in #Moscow region. Apparently it's the largest factory for the production of secondary lead, which may have some military use.
