Great thread by @TheChillum on Bill Priestap. Note that he was the Special Agent In Charge of Counterintelligence for the NY Field Office from 2013-Dec-2015. They was during the CI investigation of a Russian spy ring in NY. A case that used a variety of Undercover FBI Employees &
Confidential Source to sting Russian spies. 2012-13 Priestap used @carterwpage to pretend he was giving information to the Russian spies. He also used a casino sting that included Sater, Cohen & maybe Trump to pretend they wanted to collude w/Russians.
So Bill Priestap must have known that the individuals the FBI were targeting for collusion did it on his approval as part of an FBI investigation. Only question is if he was trying to protect those sources or help frame them for collusion. Time will tell. justice.gov/usao-sdny/pr/e…

@2xwide_dreaming I can't find enough facts to know one way or the other. But I like the theory that he is "our" money launderer working against their money launderers. His role is an enigma, he seems to be at the center of so much corruption, yet he revels in exposing corruption.

The Danske Bank Russian money laundering scandal is back in the news today. Danske turned a blind eye to Russian laundering money through its Estonian branch to reap the profits on 200 million Euro worth of the illegal transactions.
Bill Browder is in Denmark testifying about the complicity of Dutch Financial Regulators in the money laundering scandal. Not unlike the emerging issues at the US Treasury Dept. related to FINCEN & Terrorist Financing office. #ButNothingsHappening
A global financial integrity group lists Danske Bank as the #1 money launderer for 2018 ahead of Deutsche Bank & Goldman Sachs. But Danske is just further into the reveal & the others will likely surpass them in the future!

Good thread by @dmeaser but he still hasn't figured out that Manafort was conspiring with Oleg Deripaska AGAINST Trump. That Trump was the competition that Deripaska & his allies were working to destroy, by planting Manafort inside Trump's camp as a spy & saboteur.
@dmeaser The spies on Trump's team (Manafort & Gates) worked for Deripaska. The "Russians" like Kilimniak worked for Deripaska. The investigators including Steele, McCabe, Ohr, & Laufmann worked for/with Deripaska. Waldman was the agent for Assange, spreading the emails for, Deripaska.
@dmeaser When you realize that the colluders, Russians, leakers, & investigators were all working with Putin's Oligarch, Oleg Deripaska, you begin to understand it was all a set up from day one. When you realize why they wanted to sabotage Trump, it gets even more interesting!

1/ Andy McCabe shot up the FBI hierarchy at a stunning pace. He seemed intent on getting to the very top, and he accomplished that goal through a few lateral movements and positioning towards the end....
2/ In Aug 2015, McCabe moved from Washington Field Office to FBIHQ, receiving the job of Associate Deputy Director. This seems to have been a (Comey sanctioned?) holding position, waiting for FBI long-timer Mark Giuliano to retire, which happened in Jan 2016.
3/ When Giuliano retired, McCabe moved into the very powerful Deputy Director spot.
