Rejection is the reason why people deny their true feelings.⛱
It is not hard to find people who will mortgage the truth for validation and acceptance. The Maslow’s hierarchy of needs pyramid has been inverted and at the peak stands self Actualization. This is what proponents of identity politics target. People want to belong. 
One of my greatest influences (Seth Godin) reiterates this often and even confirmed the thoughts today when he posted- “Things that Are True Are Consistent.” When I said this years back, I meant every word. You don’t create Good by fighting the Ugly. 👉🏽
You simply shine your light and do good then Ugly will be forced to excuse itself from the limelight. The truth is our greatest weapon. If you state that force equals mass times velocity, it shouldn't matter who is measuring the force, or whether it's Saturday or not.
Those factors aren't part of your rules, and they shouldn't vary the outcome. Much of what passes for absolute statements of truth in our society are actually momentary statements of opinion. And the giveaway: It depends on who's acting. We MUST be wary of identity politics.
It's wrong when they do it, right when we do it. Which means it's opinion, not a basic principle. It turns out that organizations and systems are more reliable, more efficient and more professional when they're operated on principles that are actually true. #PonderOverThis
