2) your number one job when hiring an artist? COMMUNICATION. You need to be readily available to answer questions, clarify, tweak, scrap, and reconsider. Creative process is a beautifully flexible thing when done right.

3) Put it in writing. Everyone should be aware and comfortable with the work expectations, how the work will be used, and the payment delivery.
