Gunn's 2011 gross-out Troma-esque humour was only ever intended to be seen by his like-minded cult audience. Since he found mainstream fame with 'Guardians' he has used his large platform responsibly. The far-right are trying to smear him as a predator. Do not let them win.
Disney's decision has emboldened the far-right, and these tactics will now spread beyond rapist and racist Mike Cernovitch, so this isn't any kind of victory for social justice. A (likely) decent guy has been ripped from his story to appease fascists.
