Habit, ritual, tradition, and social pressures are some of the some of the most pervasive life circumstances that can SUPERSEDE your sense of satiety and hunger.
If you are used to going out for fast food during lunch, if you are used to getting a 3pm donut and coffee after work or on your break... these factors can be mitigated by being full but still require attention.
Example: After thanksgiving dinner, after everyone is completely stuffed, somehow everyone has room for some dessert. Clearly satiation and being full is not the ONLY concept that drives what you eat.
Just in the same way, even if you ate a wholesome breakfast, you may find yourself falling into the same traps at lunchtime, getting the combo meal with fries, getting a sandwich which chips.
Some part of a person has to be educated about this concept, but the other part of a person needs to truly understand the paradigm and be aware of the problem.

Yes its true if you inject Peptide YY or CCK that people will eat less, but its more complicated than that...
And lets re-examine the example of Thanksgiving dinner. Were you really hungry when you ate with your family? Dont you usually intermittent fast until dinner time? What changed on that day? It wasnt your hunger. It was the circumstance and the social cues to eat.
When you're coulleauges invite you to lunch, you may eat even though you are not hungry. When you are sitting at the dinner table with your family in the evening, you may be eating even though you are not hungry. And even this will NOT be clear to you sometimes.
The visual cues &the situation circumstances MAY convince u that uare hungry, but ARE you really? Aren't u fat-adapted? Didnt you check your ketones? Aren't u burning fat? Dont uhave fat to burn? If so you a primed to use your energy... so then why are you seeking out more food?
So, if u are struggling to lose weight, even on a ketogenic diet, low carb diet, paleo diet, plant-based diet... u need to be cognizant of these factors. Hunger is not the only reason to eat. Eliminating hunger removes a strong compulsion to eat, but there is more to address
